Understanding Pitch Drive Failures: An In-Depth Analysis
1. Control processor error fault
- Failure causes: The main control board control chip (probability of AD sampling chip) by interference.
- Treatment: If there are two or more fault records then replace the pitch drive, while replacing the drive as far as possible.
2. Overspeed error fault
- Failure causes: 1) Pitch drive AD sampler failure; 2) Other faults
- Treatment: Read the fault records, focus on the query speeding error below a fault record, two faults if the running time is similar to the next fault record based on the speeding error to deal with. Otherwise, it may not be a failure caused by the drive, need to reset and run again to observe the cause.
3. Intermediate circuit overvoltage fault
- Failure causes: 1) Braking resistor damage; 2) Frequent braking in windy weather
- Treatment: First confirm whether the braking resistor is damaged, if the braking resistor has been damaged, you need to replace the drive.
4. Pitch Drive can not be reset
- Failure causes: The main control board reset optocoupler damage.
- Treatment: Try to cut off the power to reset, and to display the fault as the basis for processing.
5. Low-voltage power supply error fault
- Failure causes: 1) The low-voltage power supply of pitch drive is unormal; 2) AD sampling chip interference; 3) 24V instantaneous power failure resulting in drive failure.
- Treatment: If the low-voltage power supply error fault record more (more than 3 times), or at the same time RF fault record, then replace the drive.
6. Output short-circuit fault
- Fault cause: Excessive output current is detected by the drive.
- Treatment: Check whether the motor is faulty, if the motor is not faulty and IK fault shutdown has two or more times, then replace the drive.
7. Grounding error fault
- Fault Cause: Input unbalance (three-phase 400V) or leakage.
- Treatment: Check whether the grounding wire is damaged, whether the motor failure, if there is no fault and there are two or more grounding errors lead to faulty downtime, then replace the drive.
